SURA Episode 5 - Energy Vampires

00:00:53: perhaps your sitting quietly Perhaps Your Walking Beneath The Open Sky Perhaps you are listening on your way home.

00:01:06: It doesn't matter where you are, what matters is that you're here.

00:01:15: Today we explore something many people feel yet few know how to describe.

00:01:23: We are speaking about energy vampires About people situations and energetic patterns That seem to leave us drained Exhausted or disconnected from ourselves.

00:01:41: And before we go any further, I want to offer you a simple reminder there is nothing to fear.

00:01:52: awareness brings clarity and clarity brings freedom.

00:02:00: in the shamanic understanding of reality everything is energy.

00:02:07: thoughts carry energy emotions carry energy.

00:02:13: Words can be energy.

00:02:16: Even relationships are living currents of energetic exchange.

00:02:23: when these currents flow in balance we feel nourished, inspired and alive.

00:02:32: When they become distorted We may begin to feel depleted.

00:02:40: An energetic vampire is often not a malicious person at all.

00:02:47: More often it is someone carrying deep wounds, Someone who has forgotten how to nourish themselves from within.

00:02:59: Someone seeking unconsciously From others what they have lost connection To inside themselves.

00:03:08: Some energy vampires constantly complain some thrive on drama Some pull others into fear Guild or emotional chaos.

00:03:23: And many are completely unaware that they're doing it, but people aren't the only source of energetic rain.

00:03:35: Shamanic traditions speak of lingering energetic attachments old promises unfinished emotional bonds karmic connections and sometimes energies that seem to cling to your light because they no longer remember their own.

00:03:59: Before we learn how to protect our energy, We first need understand something important.

00:04:08: Not everyone who drains you're energy is intentionally trying to harm you.

00:04:16: In fact many energy vampires are deeply wounded people People who have forgotten how to nourish themselves from within.

00:04:28: People whose souls are carrying burdens, they may not even fully understand.

00:04:38: From a shamanic perspective every human being longs for connection.

00:04:46: We long to feel seen.

00:04:49: we longed to feel valued.

00:04:52: We want to feel that we belong.

00:04:56: When these needs aren't met in healthy way Energy flows naturally.

00:05:04: But when a child grows up without emotional safety, Without being truly heard or without receiving to love they desperately need it.

00:05:16: Something begins to happen.

00:05:19: A hunger is burned.

00:05:22: Not a hunger for food A hunger... ...a hunger for validation A hunger for attention A hunger of significance.

00:05:39: Many people carry this hunger into adulthood without realizing it.

00:05:45: They search for outside sources to fill an emptiness that was created long ago, they seek resonance constant attention emotional reactions drama conflict anything that makes them feel alive even if only for a moment.

00:06:14: This is why there's such an important difference between genuine connection and energetic dependency.

00:06:25: How the connection feels nourishing?

00:06:29: It allows both people to grow, Both people to breath, both people remain themselves.

00:06:41: Energetic dependency feels different.

00:06:46: one person constantly gives The other constantly takes.

00:06:55: One person leaves feeling exhausted, the other leaves feeling temporarily relieved.

00:07:04: This imbalance is often where the patterns of their energetic vampires begins.

00:07:11: Over the years I have observed that energetic vampires rarely appear in only one form.

00:07:21: They wear many masks.

00:07:24: One of the most common is the eternal complainer.

00:07:30: You may know this person, no matter what happens life always against them.

00:07:39: Every solution becomes a new problem.

00:07:43: every conversation circles back to suffering.

00:07:48: you listen your support Your encourage yet nothing changes.

00:07:56: because they are not truly seeking healing, They're seeking energy.

00:08:05: Another type is the creator of drama.

00:08:09: where there's a peace that creates conflict Where there is harmony it creates tension.

00:08:18: Chaos becomes their source of fidelity.

00:08:24: The emotional storms create and generate the tension they secretly crave.

00:08:33: Then there is the guilt maker.

00:08:36: This person may never ask directly for your energy.

00:08:40: Instead, they use obligation.

00:08:46: They make you feel responsible For their emotions Responsible for happiness Responsible to choices.

00:08:58: Their favorite language Is Guild And guild can become one of the strongest energetic courts connecting two people.

00:09:12: Another form is the controller.

00:09:16: This person feels unsafe when they cannot influence The actions of others.

00:09:23: Control becomes their attempt to create security.

00:09:28: Yet, the more They control ,the more energy they require Because Their Security can never be created through domination.

00:09:42: It Can only Be Created within.

00:09:48: And then there is the nazistic energy vampire, this is often the easiest type to recognize and most difficult to escape.

00:10:00: their attention flows almost entirely toward themselves.

00:10:05: they may harm ,they may manipulate .

00:10:11: They may idolize & later devalue what they seek.

00:10:19: Would they seek a supply?

00:10:22: A constant stream of admiration, attention and emotional energy.

00:10:30: Yet perhaps the most difficult energy vampire to recognize is the spiritual energy vampire.

00:10:39: This person may speak beautifully about healing About consciousness About awakening.

00:10:49: yet behind the spiritual language They constantly demand tension, validation or emotional labor from others.

00:11:02: Not everyone who speaks about spirituality is spiritually mature.

00:11:10: True spiritual growth creates humility not entitlement.

00:11:18: The deeper question is this Why do some people affect us so strongly while other don't?

00:11:30: The answer may lie in what shamans call resonance.

00:11:36: In the shamanic view, energy moves between people constantly.

00:11:42: Every interaction is an exchange.

00:11:48: every conversation Is an exchange?

00:11:52: Every relationship is an Exchange.

00:11:56: when two energies meet they search for places of resonance Like tuning forks vibrating at the same frequency.

00:12:09: This is why certain people can only drain us where wounds already exist, Where there's no hook.

00:12:20: There's nothing to attack too.

00:12:24: this understanding Can feel uncomfortable but it also empowering because It means your power has never truly left you.

00:12:38: It means that healing your wounds weakens the cold that bind you.

00:12:44: And speaking of cords, many shamanic traditions describe energetic connections between people as cord-of energy.

00:12:55: Some cord are healthy.

00:12:59: They carry love Trust Support Mutual respect.

00:13:10: Others become distorted.

00:13:12: they form through fear control, guilt obligation or unresolved emotional pain.

00:13:28: The stronger these cards become the more difficult it can feel to separate your emotions from someone else.

00:13:38: you may suddenly feel emotion that do not seem entirely your own.

00:13:45: You may think about someone constantly their happiness.

00:13:58: This is often a sign that your center has shifted away from yourself and whenever we lose our center, it becomes easier to influence energetically.

00:14:11: So how do you recognize something happening?

00:14:20: The signs appear first within the body.

00:14:24: You may feel exhausted after certain encounters.

00:14:29: You may notice tension in your chest, a heaviness in your stomach, pressure on the head.

00:14:38: Your body often knows before you mind understands.

00:14:43: Emotionally... ...you have experienced sudden irritability.

00:14:51: Anxiety that seems to appear from nowhere or the feeling that your emotional space has become crowded mentally.

00:15:03: The science can be just as clear.

00:15:06: Racing thoughts, confusion self-doubt obsessive thinking about another person all the strange sensation that your inner voice Can become quieter than usual when this happens.

00:15:29: breath return to yourself because the goal is never to fear other people.

00:15:38: The goal is to know yourself so deeply that no one can pull you away from your own center.

00:15:48: A strong tree does not fear the wind, its roots simply run deeper and so must ours.

00:16:00: There's an old saying among shamans Where there light is those who have lost their will eventually gather.

00:16:11: Take a moment and gently reflect.

00:16:16: Have you ever left a conversation feeling strangely exhausted?

00:16:24: have you ever felt tired without any physical reason ?

00:16:31: Have your thoughts suddenly become heavy, dark or unfamiliar.

00:16:40: Have you every looked in the mirror and felt somehow disconnected from yourself?

00:16:48: these experiences can be subtle.

00:16:52: They may appear as emotional exhaustion, restlessness, irritability, sudden self-taught or the feeling that something is quietly draining your vitality.

00:17:14: If you recognize any of this please remember.

00:17:19: This isn't a sign of weakness!

00:17:23: It's often a sign sensitivity and sensitivity not a burden.

00:17:31: It is a gift.

00:17:35: The most important truth I can share with you today, this You are not powerless.

00:17:43: Energy can only take hold where awareness is absent Where boundaries have faded?

00:17:52: Where old patterns continue to operate beneath surface.

00:17:59: Healing begins the moment you remember your center and when you return to your center, Your energy naturally begins to return as well.

00:18:21: If there is one thing I hope You carry with You after this episode Is This Not everyone who enters your life is meant to stay.

00:18:33: Some people arrive as companions Some arrive as teachers, and some arrive as murals reflecting the places within us that are still longing to heal.

00:18:50: Energy vampires aren't always enemies – sometimes they're messengers!

00:18:58: They reveal where our boundaries have become weak….

00:19:03: …where we've forgotten our own worth... ...where we give away pieces of ourselves in the hope of being loved, accepted or needed.

00:19:18: But every energy was never meant to belong to others.

00:19:24: your light Was Never meant To Be consumed.

00:19:29: You are not here to carry The wounds Of Every soul you meet!

00:19:34: You're Not Here To Save Everyone!

00:19:37: You Are NOT Here To Abandon Yourself In Order To Be Loved!

00:19:45: YOU ARE HERE TO REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE to stand rooted like an ancient tree, To let your energy flow freely without fear.

00:19:57: To give from abundance rather than obligation and return again & Again to the secret center within yourself.

00:20:09: So tonight or whenever you are listening these words I invite you take a slow breath.

00:20:18: Feel The Earth Beneath You Feel your spirit within you and gently call your energy home from every place where you have scattered it, From every worry Every old attachment.

00:20:44: Every story that no longer belongs to You let It return Let it settle Let it become whole again!

00:20:58: You're not broken... ...you are not depleted.

00:21:04: You are simply remembering the way back to yourself.
